The Journal of Musculoskeletal Medicine provides primary care and other physicians a unique and efficient monthly update on the management of musculoskeletal disorders in daily practice. Coverage crosses traditional specialty lines, pulling together information you need in rheumatology, orthopedics, sports medicine, cardiology, neurology, and related specialties, as well as primary care medicine. The format is carefully designed for quick, easy reading to give you more help in less time. We also provide a musculoskeletal medicine teaching tool for physicians in training. Review articles are invited from carefully chosen authorities. Topics include some of the leading causes of office visits: arthritis, low back pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, osteoporosis, and ankle sprains. Articles are reviewed by Editorial Board members, other specialists, and reader panelists. They are edited to highlight practical concerns in diagnosis and management of common musculoskeletal disorders. Articles are accompanied by clear, precise teaching art and well-planned tables and images to clarify key points. All articles are referenced. Service features include Citations (key findings of research studies), Q&A (experts’ answers to specific clinical questions), Clinical Update (clinical news and disease prevention tips), Photo Dx (diagnostic quizzes), and Patient Education Guides (recommendations for enhancing patient education and cooperation). In addition, the journal frequently publishes article series to provide comprehensive coverage of musculoskeletal concerns of particular importance.
